Marc Contreras has worked
in law enforcement for over 20 years, and currently works for the City of
Westminster.
With a Business
Management (BSBM) degree, he has hundreds of hours of training with
certification in Records Supervisor, Civilian Management, Title 15 Jail
Operations, Property & Evidence Management. He has gained several
years of experience and is if often called upon as a valuable resource in the
industry. Over the years he has worked closely with law enforcement
organizations including CLEARS (Records Association), CAPE (Property & Evidence
Association), CCUG , and Records Managers Group.
He has worked a variety of
organizational positions, including, Secretary, Asst. Director, Treasury
Auditor, By-Laws Chair, Conference Chair, and Web Coordinator. Marc served
as a CCUG Southern Chapter officer for several years, most recently in 2003 as
Southern Chapter Assistant Director. Marc has stayed active and has been
elected to serve as the 2010-2011 Southern Chapter Director for CCUG.
