Shontelle Detwiler, Napa

2009-2010 Northern Chapter Assistant Director
Shontelle began working in
law enforcement in 1999 when she accepted a position with the Napa County
Sheriff's department as a Legal Clerk. From there she moved on to a position
with the Records Division responsible for front counter operations. Among her
other many duties she is responsible for livescanning/fingerprinting and
processing sex/drug registrations for her department. In addition she serves as
the primary subpoena clerk and handles general requests from the public.
Shontelle became involved
with CCUG in 2006 and decided almost immediately that she wanted to become more
involved. She accepted the nomination for the position of 2007 Northern Chapter
Treasurer and was elected during the CCUG elections of 2006. Shontelle
accepted the nomination for and was elected as the Northern Chapter Assistant
Director for 2008. Shontelle was re-elected to this position and will
serve as the Assistant Director for the 2009-2010 term.
When Shontelle isn't busy
with her duties at the Napa Sheriff's Department or CCUG she likes to spend time
with her husband and daughter.
