Angela Haddad, Rialto Police Department
2018 Southern Chapter Secretary
Angela Haddad is the Emergency Dispatch Supervisor for the Rialto Police Department. She began her law enforcement career in 2002 as a dispatcher with the Brea Communications Center which serves the cities of Brea and Yorba Linda. During her time there she was a Communications Training officer, Civilian Supervisor, CAD Core Group member and a Strategic Planning member. She joined the North County SWAT team as a tactical dispatcher and promoted to Assistant Team Leader for the dispatch component of the team.
Angela has a Bachelor's Degree from California State University in Sociology, with an emphasis on Social Deviance and Socio-Legal Studies. She also works for the California Association of Tactical Trainers (CATT) as an instructor for the Basic and Advanced Tactical Dispatcher POST courses and recently completed the POST Instructor course. In 2014 Angela was awarded the John Lane Scholarship from APCO and is currently enrolled in the Leadership Certificate Program.
Angela is married to a Brea police officer and has two children. As a family they are very active and enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and boating.
Angela was elected to serve as the Southern Chapter Treasurer for 2015. In 2016 Angela served as the chapter's secretary and, after a year off, she was elected to serve as Secretary again in 2018.
