Brian Barnes, Cal State Fullerton Police Department
2011 - 2012 Southern Chapter Assistant Director
Brian Barnes has been a police dispatcher for the California State University, Fullerton for over eight years. He is a POST certified Communications Training Officer and Tactical Dispatcher. He was assigned to the California State University Critical Response Unit from 2004-2010 and is currently assigned to the North County SWAT. Brian is a member of the Cal State Fullerton Emergency Operations Center and serves as his department's IT coordinator, assisting with maintaining computer equipment in dispatch and throughout the station.
Although he hasn't had the opportunity to be as active in CCUG as he would have liked, Brian was finally able to increase his involvement when he was elected to serve as the CCUG Southern Chapter Assistant Director for 2011-2012.
