Cherish Rogers, Placer County Sheriff's Office
2018 Northern Chapter Secretary

She was a supervisor and coordinated the dispatch center's CTO and training programs. Cherish was a POST certified instructor and taught classes at the academy. After 10 years, she took a 4 year break to build and run a business with her husband. In 2007 they moved back to California, and in March 2008 Cherish was hired with the Placer County Sheriff's Office. Cherish's responsibilities include being a CTO, supervisor and the CLETS Training Coordinator for PCSO. She has a passion for training and has her POST level 2 intermediate instructor certificate. In 2012 she attended her first CCUG seminar, in part to attend the DOJ "Train the Trainer" class that was hosted by CCUG that week. She enjoyed the breakout sessions, networking and the friendships she's made over the past few years. Cherish was elected to serve as the 2015 Northern Chapter Treasurer and 2016. Cherish was elected to serve as the Secretary for the Northern Chapter for 2017 and again for 2018.
