Darlene Whitten, Sacramento Superior Court
2008 - 2009 Central Chapter Director

Darlene started her law enforcement career in 1983 as a Cashier Clerk for the Sacramento Superior Court.  Since that time she has worked in the Traffic Division as a deputy clerk, lead worker and then supervisor.  She transferred to accept positions as a Criminal Division Supervisor and Juvenile Division Supervisor.  Her current assignment is that of Court Supervisor.  In addition to her supervisory duties, Darlene is also responsible for teaching may classes for the Sacramento Superior Court including CLETS certification classes.  She has also been selected to be the CLETS Agency CLETS Coordinator for the Court.

 Darlene has been a member of CCUG since 2001 and in 2002 was elected to serve as the Northern Chapter Treasurer.  She was re-elected to this position in 2003, 2004, and again in 2005.  For 2006 & 2007 Darlene was elected to serve as the Director of the Central Chapter.  She was again nominated and elected to serve as Central Chapter Director for the 2008-2009 term.

When Darlene has spare time she likes to watch as well as participate in sports.  She says she enjoys home fix it projects, but while quite adept at destroying things she is still trying to master the art of putting things back together correctly.
