Dawn Shepherd, Fairfield Police Department
2012-2013 Northern Chapter Director
Dawn is the Dispatch and Records Manager with the Fairfield Police Department, where she has worked since 1987. She began her career as a Dispatcher, then became involved in training. She worked as a Lead Dispatcher, Dispatch Supervisor, and Dispatch Manager before being promoted to her recent position. She was a CLETS trainer for her agency, a previously a trainer for a Dispatch Academy and has been the ACC for her Department.
Dawn’s first CCUG experience was several years ago at the annual training conference in Anaheim. Dawn has since attended as many seminars and chapter meetings as she's been able. Wanting to get more involved with CCUG Dawn accepted the nomination for and was elected to serve as the 2012-2013 Northern Chapter Director.
Dawn loves to travel and attend sporting events whenever she can.
