Debbie Konstantakos, Chino Police Department
2012-2013 Southern Chapter Director
Debbie Konstantakos, began her career in law enforcement in 1983 as a Police Dispatcher for the City of Montclair. She joined the Chino Police Department in 1991 as a Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor. She is a member of the S.W.A.T. Team, serving as a Tactical Dispatcher during high-risk critical incidents. Additionally, she is a Criminal Justice Instructor for local colleges in the southern California area. She instructs P.O.S.T. certified courses for Dispatchers, Communication Training Officers, Civilian Supervisors, and Peace Officers.
Debbie became a member of CCUG in 2006. Debbie was elected to serve as the Southern Chapter Treasurer for 2007 and re-elected for the same position in 2008. When the Southern Chapter Assistant Director position became vacant near the start of the year, she was appointed by the Executive Board to take over as Assistant Director for the remainder of the 2007-2008 term. Debbie was re-elected to serve for another term in 2009-2010. When the Southern Chapter Director position was vacated with one year remaining, Debbie was selected by the Southern Chapter and Executive Boards to complete the term and has now been elected to serve as Southern Chapter Director for 2012-2013.
Debbie enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren and traveling.
