Tammy Gasper, California Department of Consumer Affairs
2018-2019 Central Chapter Director
Tammy worked as a Field Representative with the Department of Justice from 2006-2017. There she was an ACC and T4T trainer for Client Services before accepting a position as a Field Representative in the Bureau of Firearms where trained on AFS, Mental Health, Property and Evidence, and Firearms Laws.
Tammy accepted a position with the California Department of Consumer affairs in 2017 where she works with firearms dealers and helps ensure compliance with current laws.
Tammy’s first CCUG experience was training the ACC and T4T classes at the 2014 annual conference in Sacramento. During her second conference in Anaheim, Tammy asked how to get more involved in CCUG and accepted the nomination for, and was elected to serve as the 2016 Central Chapter Secretary. A year later Tammy was elected to serve as the Assistant Director for the Central Chapter for 2017-2018. In 2017 Tammy was elected to serve as the Central Chapter Director for 2018-2019.
Tammy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Sacramento State University. In her free time, Tammy loves to read, travel, and take care of her animals.
