Training: RAP Sheets [0830-1130] Presented By: Joshua Goldmark, West Cities Police Communications This presentation is designed to give an overview of the California Automated Criminal History System (ACHS) responses received via CLETS. Many in law enforcement view ACHS responses as confusing and hard to understand. This presentation will take some of the mystery away and participants will have a better understanding of what they’re looking at when they view RAP sheets in the future. Details of California ACHS response and different parts of the record will be explained, as well as how the in formation contained in the record is obtained and what it means. Training: Station Safety and Security [1300-1600] Presented by: Officer Rick Gramer, Irvine Police Department Recent acts of violence at police stations have prompted organizations to reevaluate their physical security, department policies, organizational culture, and training. This presentation and tabletop exercise will focus on safety and security best practices as they pertain to the unique needs of non-sworn, professional staff who work at a police station.
Questions: Contact Wendy Villescas (wendy.villescas@prob.sbcounty.gov) Registration: $35 for 2023 members/$50 for non-members Register here: https://www.ccug.org/training/south no later than Monday, February 17, 2023.

All agencies registered as 2023 members BEFORE the meetings will be entered in a drawing for a free seminar attendee.
Attend a chapter meeting FREE: If you recruit another agency to join CCUG that hasn’t been a member you can attend a chapter meeting FREE (as long as we’ve received a paid membership from the “new” agency prior to the start of that chapter meeting).
