2026 Northern Chapter Secretary
Brittany began her career in law enforcement with the Truckee Police Department in May 2020. She was initially driven by an interest in learning more about police investigations, but found her passion in administration and leadership. She started as a Records Assistant and was later promoted to Executive Assistant to Chief of Police Danny Renfrow. Currently, Brittany holds a supervisory position, overseeing records, property and evidence, and parking enforcement staff. She also serves as the Department’s ACC and Custodian of Records. Stepping into a leadership role has been the most challenging and rewarding experience in her career; her team continually inspires her to see the bigger picture, and they know how to make her laugh through the tough times.
Brittany is grateful to live in Truckee with her husband and kitties, Yoda and Leo. She enjoys spending weekends captaining her Klamath 14 fishing boat, reading horror books, and playing video or board games with friends. She looks forward to serving as the Northern Chapter’s Secretary, especially in the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with her agency partners.
