2024 Central Chapter Treasurer
Lorrie Lucas began her law enforcement career in 2003 with the California Department of Corrections, working five years in records and two years as a correctional officer. She took a position as a dispatcher for the Merced County Sheriff’s department in 2010, then worked in the same capacity for the Turlock Police Department prior to joining CSU Stanislaus Police Department in 2019, where she is currently a Records Supervisor & Dispatcher II.
Lorrie earned her basic, intermediate and advanced POST certificates as well as having served as a Communications Training Officer and S.W.A.T dispatcher.
In her spare time, Lorrie loves attending pro baseball and football games, playing softball, and spending time coaching and watching her son play baseball.
Lorrie attended the CCUG Seminar for the first time in 2023 and wanted to become more involved due to the support of the people she met while she was there. Lorrie was elected by the Central Chapter membership to serve as their treasurer for 2024.
