Rebekah began her Law Enforcement Career in 1991, as a Police Explorer, then moved onto what would be her lifelong career in 1994, when she was hired as a Public Safety Dispatcher with the La Habra Police Department.  Since that time, she has worked for West Cities Police Communications, serving as a training officer and Chino Police where she served as an acting lead and Communications Training Officer. She was involved in the agency’s CAD/RMS transition project and a member of the department’s Training Cadre.  In 2018, Rebekah accepted a position with the La Verne Police Department as the Communications’ Supervisor. Rebekah currently holds her Emergency Number Professional (ENP) certification and has attended the NENA Center Manager Certification Course. She is a graduate of the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute Class #450.

Rebekah has been a part of CCUG since 2015, when she was asked to teach a breakout session for the annual seminar.  This class led to opportunities to do what she loved, teach other dispatchers at the POST Basic Dispatch Academies.  Rebekah was elected to serve as the 2019 Southern Chapter Secretary and then, for 2020, she was elected to serve as the Southern Chapter Treasurer. Rebekah, was elected to serve as the Southern Chapter Treasurer in 2021 and 2022 then as secretary for 2023. Rebekah was elected to serve as CCUG Southern Chapter Director for 2024-2025.

Rebekah is married with two boys and loves to travel, experience new places and meet new people.
